When we set up our session with Krystina, I was a little worried that we wouldn't get great pictures because our twins were young enough not to walk, but old enough to not sit still. As soon as she arrived I knew we would not have any issues. She was so engaging with them and had great ideas. Because our twins were premature and born during COVID, we did not have the opportunity to get newborn photos. This was our first opportunity to get photos and boy did she deliver! You should have photos you love
As a millennial, my life has revolved around my phone camera.
I've had thousands of photos stashed on-line and on social media only to have them lost to a new wave of tech or identity theft.
Which is why I love to make every family photo session everlasting with something tangible to cherish! My clients are surprised by the impact an album or portraits hanging throughout their home has on the entire family. Also, since children grow so fast, many renew their portraits every year and create a library of their family's changes throughout the years.
As the oldest of 7 children, life was always chaotic! So much so that we only have ONE family portrait from when I was 3 years old. I'm upset that I don't have photos of my own family growing up. We can't remember the height differences, missing baby teeth, or style changes as we grew through the years. The time (and the chaos) went by so fast, that we didn't stop to think that we'd never get it back.
Which is why I take such pride in capturing the details that make each age and stage so special by creating custom artwork that will transcend time. We can't turn back the clock, but that's why I love photography. A good photograph halts time and says "this second stays, here, frozen in time, forever."
